To All Fire Companies and Members of
New London County Fire Chief’s Assn.
I am writing with regard to the
upcoming 2010 CT. State Firemen’s Convention. As you may well be
aware, it was unanimously voted by the membership of the NL County
Fire Chiefs’ Assn. to host the convention and parade which will be
held throughout New London County.
I
realize that the event is over a year away; but the planning for
these things requires a lot of background participation in order for
it to be successful.
I
would like to urge each fire company in this association to
participate in some way; since once again; it was a unanimous
decision to get involved. We all know that teamwork always works
best; if everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot.
I am including a survey along with
this letter, asking each fire company to check off the category or
categories you are willing and qualified to assist with.
I
would kindly ask that these forms be returned to our convention
committee no later than August 1, 2009. If you do not respond to the
survey, we will assume that you are not
willing to support this project.
I
thank you in advance for your co-operation. We would all like to see
the Association sponsor a successful event. If you have any
